Posted in Business Software, Utilities, Windows

Roughly about 8 years ago, Symantec came up with Winfax Pro, which I am quite fascinated about, especially for those who hadn’t have a fax machine at home, but do own a computer with a decent dialup modem. Nowadays, I have hardly see such good software in the market anymore. Recently, another WinFax Pro is starting to arouse several Small Office Home Office (SOHO) users once again, only this time with WinFax Pro Macro for Word 2000/XP/2003 version 2.0 release.
Basically, WinFax PRO allows direct faxing from within Microsoft Word with one-click of a button. You’ll never need to change the printer driver to WinFax PRO, as its done instantly for you. After faxing, it reverts back to your default printer setting there is no need to switch back when you need to print a document. Documents to be faxed can be configuredto use Fine/High resolution with the Photo Quality printer driver.
WinFax allows users to send a single fax using Concord Internet Fax Service, or send multiple fax merges using your Outlook or other contact database. Contact information can be retrieved directly from your database, thus without the need of having to key in or remember the phone number each time.
WinFax Pro Macro is fully compatible with Microsoft Word 2000/XP/2003 and are digitally signed. Hence, there is no compromise of security settings in your Word.
This new piece of software is currently priced at US$39.95. In addition, there are several Add-Ons packages that users can download from here.
