After several months of testings and beta releases, the Fedora Project is finally pleased to announce the release of Fedora Core 5.

Fedora Core 5 incorporates several new enhancements and security, together with new desktop applications. There are also improved localisation tools and better software management package to manage and install softwares (which were once not very well designed, in my opinion). Furthermore, there is a strong Java integration in Fedora Core 5.

Users may download the installation ISO (or using BitTorrent, which is preferred) here.
