Firefox 2.0 Alpha Release

Once again, I stumbled about the web and came to realise that Mozilla is preparing for the next generation of Firefox - Firefox 2.0! Though it was not made public, sources have found that Firefox 2.0 looks promising, to deliver a faster, yet stable and generically better Firefox major release.

Note that, since this is an Alpha version, it might not contain the full new features as one may expect. Furthermore, they may be bugs which can freeze your computer systems. I advised only advanced users to attempt and install it, but at your own risk.

The links for the source are here:

Windows EXE – firefox-2.0a1.en-US.win32.installer.exe
Windows ZIP –
Mac – firefox-2.0a1.en-US.mac.dmg
Linux – firefox-2.0a1.en-US.linux-i686.installer.tar.gz
Linux – firefox-2.0a1.en-US.linux-i686.tar.gz

Finally, you have been warned about the risk to take. Alpha releases are unstable, and there are issues of incompatibility and unfixed bugs. Extensions may not even work in this alpha release.
