The latest version of Messenger for Mac 5.1 is now available. With Messenger for Mac, Mac users can now communicate with other MSN Messenger users. This new release adds encryption to chats and file transfers, a security feature Windows users of the software are bound to be jealous with. There are also several other improvements.

Messenger for Mac offers two types of communication services — a personal account and a corporate account. A personal account works with the MSN® Messenger service on the Microsoft Passport Network. A corporate account uses the Microsoft Office Live Communications Server service.
