Posted in Utilities, Windows

This is extremely useful for lazy and forgetful users, especially those who used lots of saved password forms in browsers to allow them to access password-protected sites. For one day, you might have realised that you forgot what the exact password is, and what you see are only asterisks (****) appearing on the text field.

Not to be alarm, NSASoft SpotAuditor has the right tool for you, which allows users to reveal passwords that are saved in several applications, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox…etc. This software does not just recover the password behind those asterisks which you had forgotten, it reveals those passwords hidden by the password field.

In addition, it explores Outlook accounts, Visited URLs, Installed Programs and Start Run Programs on a local machine or remote computers, displaying the details of all cookies that Internet Explorer stores on your computer. Hence, it is possible to recover forgotten or lost password that were entered in the Internet Explorer previously. A friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) is provided so that it make recovering password so easy.

The software is available for download here. A license costs US$25.50, but users are free to try out for 15 days.
