SendMailCMD 1.2 – Sending emails from Command Prompt

Posted in Web Apps, Windows

If you had seen linux users accessing text console to send emails, either locally or via SSH, you might be wondering how cool it might have been to have such a feature implemented in Windows. Well, there may not be any specific Microsoft Sendmail tool, but there is a third party software from Digital Architects Software, introducing SendMailCMD 1.2 as a replacement for text-console sendmail feature.

SendMailCMD is actually a command line mailer with direct delivery support and personalization options. This is exceptionally useful for writing in scripts and in environment where there is no SMTP host or scripts that are location or host independent.

Some of the key features are:

  • * Auto resolve function
  • * Personalization function
  • * Body from file option
  • * Logging option

A trial version is available for download here, but users may purchase a license directly, via Paypal, for only €4.95.
