Posted in Linux, Mac OS, Site News, Solaris, Web Apps, Windows

ajaxTunes is a web-based music player that lets you play high-quality streaming music directly from the Internet on any computer. Harnassing the power of AJAX programming, users can try out ajaxTunes here with a demo account.

Alternatively, users can create and register their own music locker and choose from over 40,000 songs to create their own personal playlists.

In addition to listening to music from the pre-loaded playlists or from personal locker, users are allowed to create a web application allowing website visitors to play single songs or even a list of songs. Furthermore, it can work as a conventional media player, allowing end users to use it and play their own music collection from their computer.

Some previous works of AJAX applications from ajax13 Inc. includes, ajaxWrite, ajaxSketch, Ajax-EyeSpot and ajaxXLS.
