WinRAR 3.60 Beta 1

Posted in Linux, Mac OS, Utilities, Windows

Of all the compression utilities that I have used before, this one is the best and recommended out of them. Since I started using WinRAR, I have never changed and I would highly recommend all of you to try that out.

WinRAR 3.60 Beta 1 is the latest release by Alexander Roshal. WinRAR is a powerful archive manager, which allow users to perform backups and reducing file size and email attachments. It supports compression of RAR and ZIP formats. However, it supports decompression of several other compressed file formats, such as ISO, TAR, CAB, BZ2, ARJ, LZH, ACE, 7-Zip, GZip, UUE, JAR and Z, on top of ZIP and RAR.

WinRAR is also available in several languages, including English, Hebrew, Portuguese, Bulgarian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Croatian, Serbian Latin, Serbian Cyrillic, Romanian, Norwegian, Bosnian, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Lithuanian, Slovenian, Greek, Japanese, Swedish.

The latest change log is available here. WinRAR is free to download for trial before you buy. The latest version of WinRAR 3.60 Beta 1 is available for download here.

My strongest recommendation is that you try this out. It’s a beautiful utility tool to have.
