DivX Inc. has announced the release of DivX 6.5 for the Mac. This package consists of a DivX Player, DivX Community Codec and DivX Web Player, bundled as a software.

Particularly, it features the first “official” release of DivX player for Mac, which allows Mac users to watch DivX-encoded video in both web browser and from the desktop.

DivX produces high-quality compressed video that can be played back on computers, some portable devices and DivX-capable DVD players.

The package is free for download. However, you can purchase a PRO version for $19.99, which will include a DivX Converter and DivX Pro Codec.

System Requirement:

• Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
