Other than Photoshop CS, GIMP is another professional image editing software that works almost like the former. There is also one called GIMPShop, which is a GIMP alternative, that makes the interface looks more like Photoshop while using GIMP.

While GIMPShop, like GIMP, is available to download for FREE. The latest version GIMPShop 2.2.11 for Mac OS X is finally released.
