Mozilla Thunderbird

How can I miss out this big release from Mozilla. Other than Firefox, the Mozilla Thunderbird is an excellent companion to go along with one of the most popular web browser.

Basically, I need no introduction. If you use Outlook Express before, that is basically what Mozilla Thunderbird does. The latter is a redesign of the Mozilla mail component focusing on a cross platform stand alone mail client software, using XUL user interface language.

If you are still using Outlook Express, I would highly recommend you to switch to Thunderbird as soon as possible. The performance and stability of the code simply means faster and better user interface for the users. Redundant components can be removed thereby improving speed of the program.

Thunderbird provides stability and security enhancements that are part of the ongoing program to provide a safer email experience for users. All Thunderbird users are recommended to upgrade to this latest version.

New Features

  • * Universal Binary Support for Mac OS X which provides native support for Macintosh with Intel Core processors. Thunderbird supports the enhancements to performance introduced by the new MacIntel chipsets.
  • * Improvements to product stability.
  • * Several security fixes.

Download Thunderbird today. Wait no longer, to fix and patch those security flaws.
