Adium

Adium is a free instant messaging application for Mac OS X, released under the GNU GPL and developed by the Adium team.

I believe the above statement says it all about Adium. In a single application, you can connect to ICQ, MSN and Yahoo networks, so that you can send messages with your peers on your contact list.


The supported protocols are:

  • * AOL Instant Messenger (Including ICQ and .Mac)
  • * Jabber (Including Google Talk)
  • * MSN Messenger
  • * Yahoo! Messenger (Including Yahoo! Japan)
  • * Bonjour (Compatible with iChat)
  • * Gadu-Gadu

  • * Lotus Sametime

Furthermore, Adium is supported in the following language translations:

Hardware Requirement:
