Posted in Mac OS, Software Companies, Utilities, Windows
Ever since the initial release of Apple Boot Camp for Intel-based Mac PCs have created a uproar in the Mac vs Intel community, you might be glad to know that Apple Boot Camp 1.0.2 Beta has been released.
For some who have no idea what Boot Camp is all about, basically, it is a software that enables Intel-based Macs to run Microsoft Windows XP.
As to what is new in this version, unfortunately not much documentation has been released.
According to the site,
Apple has provided no documentation regarding enhancements in this release. The disk image download itself has a modification date of July 10th (yesterday) at 9:17 AM, but the files therein — including BootCampAssistant.pkg, the installer for the Boot Camp Assistant — carries a modification date of June 19th.It is presumed that this update includes revised versions of the Windows XP Mac drivers, so you should burn a new drivers disk (using Boot Camp Assistant) after installing the Boot Camp update, then boot into Windows XP and re-install drivers.
