OpenSUSE 10.2 Alpha 3

Posted in Linux, Site News

Just a month after SUSE announced the change of the project name to openSUSE, the next alpha release of openSUSE 10.2 Alpha 3 is now released. The codename of openSUSE 10.2 is “Basilisk Lizard“.

SUSE Linux 10.2 Alpha 3 is now available for download from the website.

The release announcement noted several fixes from its previous Alpha 2 release, but some bugs still remain.

Note that, alphas of openSUSE are rather untested and more for the experimental folks, and thus are not recommended to use it in production machine. However, Alpha 3 has been considered by Andreas as an important milestone for development and testing.
