phpMyAdmin 2.9.0 Released

phpMyAdmin is commonly used in lots of web hosting services, especially MySQL in cPanel where users can easily make use of phpMyAdmin to access the database system.

The latest release of phpMyAdmin 2.9.0 has been released, following my previous post on the release candidate (RC1). Actually, this software is probably more of interest to web hosting companies and developers, but I’ll still introduce it here, since I find it kind of useful.

For more information about phpMyAdmin; basically, phpMyAdmin is a tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the Web. Currently it can create and drop databases, create/drop/alter tables, delete/edit/add fields, execute any SQL statement, manage keys on fields, manage privileges,export data into various formats and is available in 50 languages.
