It certainly takes quite a long time for Gaim to be releasing from the previous beta version to this latest beta 4 verseion.

Assorted builds of this Gaim release can be found on the sourceforge page. Gaim is a GTK+ instant messaging application. It supports multiple protocols, including AIM, ICQ, Yahoo!, MSN, Jabber, IRC, Napster, Gadu-Gadu, Zephyr, and SILC. It has many common features found in other clients, as well as many unique features
