Haven’t got a copy of Adobe Acrobat yet? With PDF files commonly used to communicate between users, Acrobat Reader only allows reading of PDF files, but not creating or modifying them. This conversion tool is a service that allows conversion of files into text Adobe PDF format, that are in English and most West European languages. Available are two methods of file conversion: by mail or by URL.
By Email Attachment
If the Adobe PDF file is on local media, such as a hard drive, CD-ROM, or internal server, it can be submitted as a MIME attachment to an e-mail message. All converted Adobe PDF documents will be sent back to the sender as MIME attachments. For plain text, mail the attached PDF to pdf2txt@adobe.com. For HTML, mail the attached PDF to pdf2html@adobe.com.
