A possible solution is perhaps to run programs that do no require any installations, such as PortableApps. The latest product is a PortableApps Suiteā„¢ 1.0 which includes a combination of several popular software programs made to be portable and packaged into an integrated menu.

PortableApps Suite is a collection of portable apps including a web browser, email client, office suite, calendar/scheduler, instant messaging client, anti-virus, sudoku game, backup utility and integrated menu, all pre-configured to work portably.
