Transmission 0.7 Beta – BitTorrent on the Mac

Posted in Mac OS, Site News, Web Apps

Transmission

Tired of using the same BitTorrent client on your Macintosh? Try Transmission 0.7 Beta! The name may sound unfamiliar, but Transmission is by far the fastest and extremely light-weight BitTorrent client for Mac. Furthermore, its interface provides an attractive and appealing environment that it makes users feel comfortable navigating around the control.

The last stable release of Transmission is version 0.6.1. However, the version 0.7 Beta is likely to add a lot more favour to the interface and torrent engine. In actual fact, Transmission is an open source software that runs on Mac OS X, Linux, NetBSD, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and BeOS platform. So you can imagine it is an efficient cross-platform application.

Though it may be tempting to use the software, but it is still under development, bugs may prevail. The respository for download is available below here.
