New-Ext 0.8 – Create Windows Folder
Posted in Site News, Utilities, Windows
New-Ext 0.8 is a Windows utility that allows user to create directory instantly. For instance, if you create a new folders, it will follow the template provided by the application, such as it follows the date string like “27.jun.2006″.
This is particularly useful when users tend to create lots of new folders and forget which one is which. Instead of “New Folder (1)” or “New Folder (53)”, this systematic way of managing new folders is certainly very helpful.
New-ext extends Windows Explorer context menu with a number of commands that create a directory based on a template you configure. The new folder name is based on the template string and current date.
