UniveRSS

Especially only for Windows Vista, UniveRSS is a feed reader which leverages the Windows Presentation Foundation and provides a brilliant way of visualising RSS feeds and contents. Some special, stunning features include a full-screen 3D universe where galaxies represent the folders of the RSS feed directories, and the stars represent the feed information. The size and position of the feed cubes indicate the number of items it contain and being unread.

Requirement:

  • * 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  • * 1 GB of system memory
  • * Support for DirectX 9 graphics with a WDDM driver, 128 MB of graphics memory (minimum), Pixel Shader 2.0 and 32 bits per pixel.

More features are likely to appear in the next few months. Those features include:

  • * alternative ways to navigate in UniveRSS
  • * further customization features and RSS feed management information
  • * advanced search and sorting possibilities
  • * more-advanced physical animation model
  • * integration of Live services
  • * additional layouts
  • * and many more …

Note that during the process of installation, users will be asked to register for the Panel in order to access the ClickOnce link. Once the application is installed on your machine, it will automatically detect new versions.
