Get a free photo album application, similar to that of ACDSee, to help you organise and view multimedia files (including images, audio and even video). That free software is Fresh View 7.15.

In addition, the application allows users to watch movies, listen to audio files and even view graphic images in a slide show. These image files can be displayed concurrently in a thumbnail view, displaying several images at the same time, without having to open them.

Fresh View also allows conversion of image file formats from one type to another, and supports creation of HTML album, to be hosted on websites.

Video file conversion is getting easier with a lot of utilities and tools available on the Internet. One of them is Easy WMV, a program designed to resize or convert WMV, ASF, AVI, MP4, MPG, MPEG, MOV and VOB file formats to another format that can be played using QuickTime Player or an iPod.

This application has a very simple user interface, and it supports drag and drop as well as batch processing. It can export video to mpeg and mpeg4 formats and can optimize videos for playback on iPod.

Playing video files is now easier with GOM Player. This application is a FREE media player, equipped with popular audio and video codecs built-in. Hence, there is no need for users to install codecs separately.

Skype Beta Now Available

The next beta version of Skype version 3.1 is now available. There are a couple of changes in this beta release.

Mozilla Firefox – Available Soon

According to, the next version of Mozilla Firefox is soon to be released. Although it is not yet officially announced, Firefox is already available on FTP sites.

This release fixes several security issues including memory corruption issue making users vulnerable to phishing and spoofing. This release is also the first to have been tested through a newly executed beta testing program for security and update releases.

If you are currently running Firefox, you may upgrade to the latest version directly from the browser. Otherwise, the setup file is available for download from the website.
