KenZip

Kenzip 1.0 is a frontend developed for p7-zip application. With this software, users can create password-protected 7z and zip archives easily.

KenZip is developed using Python and Qt3. It is almost installable on any existing Linux distro. Some of them which have been tested and working well are

  1. OpenSUSE 10.2
  2. Debian testing 2006.01
  3. Kanotix 2006-01-RC4

Python, Qt3 and p7-zip are required to be installed prior the installation of KenZip. Otherwise the dependencies will fail.
