Ok, this is not Deep Blue machine, where you are pitting your mastery skill against a fast processor. Nonetheless, Pos 1.14 is an experimental chess program, completely written in Java, for your linux systems.

The fundamental of this chess program does not rely on a single shannon algorithm, but on several other algorithms as well – and therefore considered to be experimental (not because of bugs present). The code being developed is not by brute-force, instead it uses a genetic algorithm which intelligently seeks the best possible solution for every possible move by its opposition to win the game.

Note that, Pos currently (version 1.8) consists of 22 algorithms, which is to be determined by genetic algorithm.
