BitLet.org is the latest web application, which runs on Java engine, to allow web surfer download torrent files from the website. It is a simple application which does not require and installation. Users only need to copy the torrent metafile URL and then press Download torrent and the download procedure will begin.
Note that, this is still currently under development, and it may always be successful. BitLet also allows resume support in case a download is being suspended. The applet will resume by default. Furthermore, it allows uploading, as well as capability to configure the maximum upload bandwidth. A simple statistics panel is available to see how much is being uploaded or downloaded. Seeding is also supported. As long as the download window is kept open, the seeding will continue, even after the download reaches 100%.
