SUN Microsystems has announced the release of MySQL 5.1, the latest release of the popular open-source database application. According to the release note, it is mentioned that this version incorporates features that speed up processes.
The new service allows developers to automatically schedule common SQL-based tasks to execute on the database server, thereby reduces time-spent.
