Firefox 3 Release Drawing Near

The news is out, Mozilla has revealed that Firefox 3, the next generation of Mozilla Firefox browser, will be released next Tuesday, June 17th, 2008.
Although some developers and testers have already got their hands on the latest applications, it is still under pre-release milestone stage; that is, it is not yet a production release. By next Tuesday, the full version will be revealed, with several fixes.
Firefox 3 is a result of more than 34 months of active development from thousands of contributions from the community. Remember, the date is June 17, 2008 – the day when Mozilla also attempts to break the world’s record of the highest number of downloads in a single day.
