PHP 5.1.4 Released

Most web administrators and developers would be quite familiar with PHP, known as Hypertext Preprocessor, an open source, server-side, HTML embedded scripting language used to create dynamic Web pages.

The latest version of PHP 5.1.4 has been released. A critical bug with $_POST array handling as well as the FastCGI sapi have been discovered in PHP 5.1.3 and will be addressed in this version. All PHP users are encouraged to upgrade to this release immediately.

Change Log:

  • * Added “capture_peer_cert” and “capture_peer_cert_chain” context options for SSL streams.
  • * Added PDO::PARAM_EVT_* family of constants.
  • * Fixed possible crash in highlight_string().
  • * Fixed bug (FastCGI now longer works with isapi_fcgi.dll).
  • * Fixed bug (cloning Dom Documents or Nodes does not work).
  • * Fixed bug (problems with $_POST array).
  • * Fixed bug (bad error reporting for pdo_odbc exec UPDATE).
  • * Fixed bug (crash when pdo_odbc prepare fails).
