IntelliAdmin – Remotely Enable Remote Desktop

Posted in Fun Stuff, Utilities, Web Apps, Windows

In Windows 2003, Windows XP and Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft equipped these operating systems with Remote Desktop function, such that users can login remotely to the system and work on the machine as though users were facing the machine directly in front of them. However, the only problem is that these remote machines need to have Remote Desktop feature enabled before users can access them, and it could be rather inconvenient if far across the network where it is tough to reach. As such, there is nothing within Windows’ reach to allow users to enable that feature remotely.

Luckily, IntelliAdmin has fixed this feature with this totally free utility, which does not require any install, extra dlls or runtime. This executable file allow users to enable or disable Remote Desktop on the machine across the LAN.
