Posted in Mac OS, Site News, Utilities, Web Apps

Xtorrent Public Beta 1 is the latest bittorrent client for Macintosh users. There is not much specific information available at the website, but the prospect looks very bright. Xtorrent has their own Xtorrent blog site that allow users to discuss about the application and torrent-related stuffs.

While bittorrent is the latest P2P (peer-to-peer) communication using advanced technology with de-centralised servers, holding the files, it allows downloads provided one serves to provide bandwidth for uploads for other users, who are also downloading the same file. More information about BitTorrent can be found at the BitTorrent website.

The basic requirement to run Xtorrent Beta 1 is at least a Mac OS X machine.

Xtorrent Public Beta 1 can be download today.
